Knit up in delicious Oink Pigments Mystic, the sample uses one skein each of That’s A Moray and Public Cervix Announcement, which complement each other beautifully for a unique slip stitch cowlette with a fun lace border.

Knit up in luxurious Malabrigo Rios, the sample uses one skein each of Ivory, Melon, and Almond Blossom, blending them together beautifully in a cozy, generously sized cowlette. Biellese works up beautifully in DK weight yarn too. Just use the larger needles and hook. The DK yarn used in the new sample is the Torrey DK yarn by Fairway Fibers. Two skeins each of two different colors makes the same shawl pattern larger (80” wide 203 cm) and more cozy at a gauge of 15 sts and 20 rows to 4” 10 cm.

Lawsonia is the perfect little something to carry you into spring from a long winter. The Triton colorway from Socktupus is gorgeous mix of greens and blues with just a few hints of purple that is shown to best advantage by this crescent shaped shawlette with a sweet leafy edging.

Rachmaninoff is the sixth of the Seven Songs. Designed to use Paca Peds Heel Toe, you switch colors depending on which section of the shawlette you are working on. For this shawlette I used most of the 90 yards of heel-toe yarn, and about 280 yards of the main color yarn.

This shawlette is worked from the top down and is somewhere between a crescent and a half-circle shape. It is worked in 5 wedges, so roughly 5/8 of a circle. Worked from the top down, it is the fourth of the the Seven Songs, which has already been released to e-book subscribers. This one is named for Prokofiev and his Moonlit Meadows piece.
