One morning on a quiet drive through Autumn scenery, I had the desire to crochet an ornament for my writing friends and book lovers. The idea of a book ornament was born! I looked for one, but couldn’t find it. So I created the pattern.

With a desire to create new ornaments for my shop this year, I will be adding a few new ones to my shop. This one is called The Swirl Ornament for the look. It creates a gentle swirl in a long or short shape. The pattern is versatile, allowing the purchaser to create small, medium, or long Swirl ornaments to match their needs.

This pattern is written in U.S. Terminology. Please read all instructions prior to starting this project.

When you purchase this pattern, you receive a cover page, materials list, notes, abbreviation list, and the pattern. This pattern includes two different finishes - armholes and halter. In the future, there may be more finishes added.

Quick scrap buster. Perfect to add to a Barbie accessory collection.

This pattern is designed for Easter. It creates a small basket with a Barbie sized egg! Not only is it a quick pattern, but it is a scrap buster.

I have three cats, so when Christmas rolls around it is difficult to put breakable ornaments on the tree. I love the look of ball ornaments, but again…cats…and nieces/nephews. So I took the concept of a Christmas ball ornament and flattened it a little.

This melon pattern can be used with pale yellow yarn for a honeydew or frosty green for a green melon.

The photographs of the blue variegated and the green tooth are tester photographs. These testers have given me permission to use these photos.

This pattern can be worked with bigger or smaller hooks for a bigger or smaller mitten. The idea was to create an ornament that could hide small candies within the tree for a little one to find.
