First I found the “Leftover Mitts” pattern by Emma Jane Maple, then her pattern led me to the “An Unoriginal Hat” by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee. I loved both patterns, and made both, but then decided I wanted full mittens, and I wanted mittens with the larger cable pattern from the hat.

A sweet, simple fingerless pattern worked from the top-down. Must be able to read a (pretty simple) chart to complete this pattern.
