Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
When I first met my great knitting friend/enabler Stacie, she was wearing a beautiful entrelac shawl and I’ve always associated that technique with her. How better to celebrate our friendship than to take that technique and skew it ever so slightly.
Knitting: Cardigan
Inspired by a trip several years ago to the ancient cities of Tunis and Sidi Bou Said, and all the wonderful architecture and mosaic tile work I was privileged to see, I designed a motif-edged, loose-fitting, wrap cardigan to throw around myself when the weather dips and remind me of my trip. Named after the Bardo National Museum in Tunis, Tuni...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
You’ll love the versatility of the ruana, a poncho-style outer garment originating in the Andes. One of the most adaptable articles in your closet, it can be worn a number of ways—worn loose like a cardigan, flipped across your shoulders for more warmth and style—adapting to your needs. Fitting most every body size, the Falling Leaves Ruana is ...
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Everyone needs of a good pair of fingerless mitts for those chilly winter days! A friend admired a pair of mitts that I’d knit for myself years ago and demanded that I replicate them. Here’s to Misty for making me get the pattern down in writing!
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
A great introduction to colorwork and stranding, these mitts are the perfect project for those mini skeins you’ve picked up as well as stash busting! Worked in the round with some stranded colorwork. Thumb gusset created with slip raised increase method for a smoother finish.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These mitts were inspired by the lovely colors from Thriving Hive Studio. How could I not make some fingerless mitts? Knit with five colors, these mittens also make great stash busters for those leftover fade project remnants. Let your inner designer be your guide! Knit in the round in St st framed by garter rows. Thumb gusset is created with s...
Knitting: Poncho
After a long and tiring year, I’d love to supply you with some much needed comfort knitting. This pattern will be free to download from December 9 through the 15th. I hope you can take some time to yourself and enjoy this knit. No coupon needed, pattern will be free when placed in your cart. Cheers!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Named after a good friend, this three color shawl uses garter stripes and honeycomb lace knit on the bias making a twist on a traditional rectangle. Roopie is simple enough for a knitter just learning lace but quirky enough to keep a more advanced knitter interested.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
Mother and baby bunny snuggle up on this cuddly baby blanket with pom-pom detail for mom’s tail. This baby blanket is a quick knit and excellent first intarsia project which only requires two colors. Matching the gauge is not vital but a different gauge will affect the final size and amount of yarn used. The tail pom-pom is optional.
Knitting: Cowl
An interesting and quick knit for bulky yarn with two size options. Any bulky or super bulky yarn will work well for this pattern.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This is a very adjustable pattern that I created to be able to use some wonderful yarn that was in need of a project. If you like a loose mitten, choose the larger size.
Knitting: Cozy - Other
I was inspired by the birds and their babies fluttering around in my trees and decided to join in the fun by creating a nest for some knitted critters.
