Crochet: Brimmed Hat
This delightful hat is an intermediate project for a crocheter with some experience. The rainbow colours would brighten up any summer’s outfit but pastels would work equally well. The brim of the hat is folded up and is trimmed with a flower crocheted in the same yarn, but you can leave the flower off if you prefer.
Knitting: Hats - Other
This very simple hat is made of just two rectangles, knitted in easy stocking stitch. There is no shaping, the tassels are optional and by varying the size, colours and embellishments you can make this hat for anyone in the family.
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf is knitted in moss stitch (US seed stitch) which looks fancy and stylish even though it is a simple pattern which only uses knit and purl stitches. There is no shaping or making up and, even if you are new to knitting, you can knit this in a couple of evenings.
Knitting: Tube Sock

Creating the fun swirly pattern on the top is much easier than it looks and is done using just straightforward decreases. With its simple shape there is lots of scop...

But don’t save it for special occasions, it looks worn casually too over jeans and a t-shirt for that boho-chic look. Although light as a feather (great for the lugga...
