A granny square scarf for an adventurous beginner using five shades of double knit yarn.

A double knit lapghan blanket comprising of 80 granny squares, using Stylecraft Highland Heathers DK in the following shades:

You can use any type of five round granny square to make this. I chose a simple circle into square this time, but a regular granny or a starburst would look just as good.

I have been planning and musing over this blanket for just over a year now and finally it has come to fruition. I was totally inspired by Karen @insomniacrochet and her amazing interpretations of Lucy’s Attic24 blankets by turning them into colour wash harmony square blankets.

Top down basic triangular shawl but with a border that looks far more difficult than it actually is.

Pattern inspired by some of the colours in the border of Lucy’s (Attic24) harmony blanket. I added some and took some away but you could use whatever colours make you happy.
