Knitting: Cowl
Just in time for Valentines day……. a lovely cabled cowl knit in a DK weight yarn on size 4mm/6US needle.
Knitting: Cowl
In honour of Valentine’s Day we have the Love and Kisses Cowl. I have wanted to do a “heart” motif Cowl for quite awhile and so this cowl was born. In addition to the heart cables there is also X’s and O’s cables as well. It is the perfect addition to your winter wardrobe or maybe make it as a gift for someone you adore.
Knitting: Scarf
I wanted to create a lace scarf that is slightly easier than my Easy as Pie Scarf. How is it easier you ask? Well…..Like my Easy as Pie, Easier than Pie has NO cables. This Scarf is created with 2 types of lace stitches and with TBL(through back of loop) ribs. These TBL ribs help to give stability to the lace pattern. It truly is an easy knit y...
Knitting: Cowl
I just love varigated yarn-it is like Candy! This Cowl is an easy, fun and very quick knit. A great slanted graphic design made with stripes and slip stitches. Makes a great gift or a sweet treat for yourself! And as always if you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact me. Happy Knitting everyone!
Knitting: Cowl
Here in Canada “Twofer” refers to a case of beer-24 bottles that is. My Twofer refers to a pattern that gives two patterns in one. I wanted to create an easy, fun and quick Cowl pattern. The stripes, lace and varigation make it a fun knit. One cowl has a garter edge while the other has a lace edge detail. Both cowls have Lace and Stripes but do...
Knitting: Cowl
Super Easy, quick Infinity Cowl. Such a great pattern for those new to cables or for those seasoned knitters.
Knitting: Poncho
It is created with Double Moss Stitch and an interesting Cable. An fun knit that is quite easy to follow but still keeps your interest. Great to knit while watching tv or just about anywhere else. This pattern is quite adaptable to other sizes, only need to add or subtract in Main Double Moss Stitch area to change sizing.
Knitting: Throw
For those newly venturing into the world of cables this may just be your pattern. Or for those looking for an interesting yet easily memorized cable and texture pattern….look no further.
Knitting: Scarf
Although this scarf is a lovely “lady”, it could certainly be knit up in a dark or medium gray for a lovely “gentleman”. This pattern incorporates cables and texture. There is both written and charted instructions.
Knitting: Cowl
Due to the rib design the cowl is reversible. The Cowl has to be blocked in order for the ribs to open up and achieve size stated.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This Shawl was inspired by the amazing Mirasol Hacho yarn. It is the most lovely 100% Merino Wool to knit with.
Knitting: Scarf
I have tried to create something that is very whimsical. Not only is it whimsical in the detail of the knitted pattern but also with the addition of Pom Poms.
Knitting: Scarf
I wanted to make available a very quick and easy pattern for a yarn that should be the star of the show. Thus a scarf pattern that is just garter stitch. The pattern is really more of a “recipe”. The yarn is a very lovely Chenille. It is super easy and takes no time at all. It took me around 3hrs to complete on size 9mm needles. This scarf woul...
Knitting: Scarf
Here we have a delightful scarf with a vintage vibe with the use of Baby Cables and Scottish Faggotting Lace. I used both SSK and P2Tog so that both sides of the “lace” would look similar. Other Faggotting that uses just K2Tog/P2Tog seem to produce a lace that does not look the same on both sides.
Knitting: Scarf
This is a simple, very easily memorized lace pattern. Both K2Tog and SSK have been used in this pattern. Both were used in order for the scarf not to twist. By using both these stitches in this pattern the scarf lays flat.
Knitting: Scarf
Hey Everyone…. This is a fine gauge scarf with a vintage feel. It has both cables and lace. The lace makes it look like a second type of cable. Instructions are both written and charted. The length is 66” but could certainly be made longer as there will be extra yarn left over. Also it can be made smaller or larger in width depending on the num...
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern was previously available on Scribed (for free) but was knit in Bernat Mosaic(which looks fabulous) on 5mm needle. I am releasing this pattern on Ravelry knit in Noro Taiyo (which also looks fabulous!).
Knitting: Cowl
This cabled cowl is a great way to be introduced to cabling. On any given row you are only dealing with one particular cable.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This wrap is constructed with 3 patterns of easy lace. The pattern is such that it looks almost the same going both ways, that way there is no seaming or grafting 2 separate pieces together. The yarn- Debbie Bliss Party Angel was really great to knit with. If you have been wary in the past to knit with Mohair then this may just be the one for y...
Knitting: Scarf
Hi Everyone, I created this pattern so that those that are new to Cables and Lace will be able to try something new. Don’t be intimidated by these elements as the pattern has many repetitive stitches so it isn’t so complcated. However, for those seasoned knitters it still has enough interest to keep one going.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is the last pattern in the “trilogy”! I think! I wanted to create a Lace Scarf/Shawlette pattern for those who are new to Lace knitting or for those who wanted an easy lace pattern to knit. If you have never knit with a fine gauge yarn then this one may be just for you. The Rialto Lace yarn is a dream to knit with and is great for those wh...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Note: should read K2 in WS: Set up row instead of KS. Sorry about that guys don’t know how that one got by me. As always if anything else creeps up or is a miss let me know. I will reload pattern with correction.
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
The yarn for this project only gives weight info- 100g. There is plenty of yarn for this project in one 100 gram skein.
Knitting: Throw
Note: When loaded on Mar 5/2012, pattern had a small typo. In abbreviations BO should read: Bind off, not bind off3!
Knitting: Coaster
I have uploaded an updated version of this pattern. It now includes very detailed instructions for Row 13. This row can be tricky so I have added a very detailed instruction for this row. If you have previously downloaded this pattern you can re download or email me for instructions just for Row 13.
