This is a revised pattern I originally wrote 8 years ago. It now has better pictures, a help video, and all stitches are picked up from the front side of your work. The pattern requires a lot of precision, and so I included lots of helpful hints to knit this beautiful work of art.

This lap blanket is composed of 12-11 1/2” squares, using 2 different types of yarn. The crystal pattern is made with a simple cable technique whereby all the cables are connected together. You DO NOT NEED A CABLE NEEDLE! If you’ve never tried simple cables and traveling stitches without a cable needle this is a great pattern in which to learn....
