Knitting: Tote
This fun little bucket style tote is great for the farmers market, small needle art projects. It was created from many different qualities I enjoyed when making knitted, felted bags. Change the size, colors, handles and designs for fun. There will be notes along the way on how to do these possibilities.
Knitting: Hats - Other
You will start out doing a 2 x 2 rib, a couple of knit rows and then go into a spiral pattern, ending with a decreased top. Add a pompom and finish off normally. If you stay with the pattern instructions you can change up the needle size to open up the finished size. Experiment with different weights of yarn. I like to use 7’s, 8’s and 9’s with...
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These were created as a result of my granddaughter asking me if I could make hear a pair of fingerless gloves. Mind you her little hands required a special fit. She wanted them in red. So red there were and she loved them :)
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
With basic stitches you can make these gloves very quickly and change them up by knitting or purling more rows for a personal fit. The gauge changes based upon the yarn used. If you change your needle size due to your style of knitting the gloves can be made smaller or larger for a good fit. My pattern is broken down in steps and easy to follow...
Knitting: Cowl
This pattern is written for two sizes and the yardage figured for both. Gauge can fluctuate depending upon your stitching. Both are sizes designed for comfort. You can change to yarns of your choice and they can be DK to Worsted. Have fun and thank you for your interest in my patterns.
Knitting: Earflap Hat
There are many options for making the ear flaps and brim edgings on the ear flap hat. Use your imagination, the picture I have posted and the yarn types are equally fun to chose from. Use worsted to bulky yarn, change your needles accordingly, and watch your gauge.
Knitting: Tote
Fantastic carry-all tote for everyday use. Big enough to carry your laptop or needle arts projects. You need to use 100%, worsted wool. It will be felted so gauge is not a big concern with this project. Mix your colors up……you get to be as creative as you want. Use up leftover yarn in your stash.
Knitting: Cowl
This pattern was created due to my curiosity of yarn overs and open work. I also wanted to have a pattern that could change based upon the desired length and width I wanted. Success! The endings are flexible too.
