This is a great intermediate lace knitting project. No precise gauge is required. Every other row is simply purled - what I call a rest row. And the stitch count does NOT vary from row to row. The scarf is knitted in two pieces, from the end to the center, then the pieces are grafter together. Makes a great gift and works up quickly.
