The purpose of the alien allies is to give children who struggle with change to have someone by their side, a friend to help with the transitions they face in every day life. This is particularly important for some children with autism.

The monkey is about 8 inches tall, and if you embroider his eyes, is suitable for small babies, as well as older children.

This little piggy pattern is really quick and simple to make. If you are familiar with how to increase and decrease, then you will be able to easily follow this pattern.

Pattern is available in both UK and US terminology.

Here’s my little witch egg cosy. She’s very quick and simple to do, and makes the perfect partner for the wizard.

Here’s my second pattern - a wizard egg cosy. As with the daleks, its worked in the round, using a cheap double knit yarn. Use any colours you like, and decorations can also be added.

This is my first attempt at writing up a pattern I have created. Its currently untested (but a friend is looking at it for me), so if anything doesn’t make sense, please let me know and I’ll correct.
