Knitting: Cowl
A fun new twist on my original Shiny Penny Cowl — the Lucky Penny Cowlette is a quick, reversible, bandana-style cowl, that’s perfect for stashbusting. And whether you’re inside with an overzealous AC or out-and-about in the cool Summer night air, it’s a great light-weight knit that’s just cozy enough to keep the chill away.
Knitting: Earwarmers
“You scream! I scream! We all scream for SUPER BULKY MERINO!” Wait … what? No really, who can resist a super squishy skein of super bulky yarn??
Knitting: Baby Blanket
After designing the Dream Weaver Baby Blanket for my first little nephew, I felt inspired to do the same for baby number two — “the littlest Weaver.” As with with his brother’s blanket, this pattern just begged to include the basket weave stitch in response to the baby’s last name.
Knitting: Wall Hanging
The Chicago Cubs dominated the 2016 season, and I wanted to do a little something extra to show my Cubbie pride as they attempted to break that pesky curse once and for all. What better way to do this than with classic W flag?
Knitting: Glasses Case
Summer time is a fantastic time to celebrate chevrons and sunny days! Seeing Chevron is a quick little knit, sure to brighten up your day and bust a little stash.
Knitting: Baby Blanket
Inspired by a forthcoming nephew, “Baby Weaver”, this pattern just begged to include the basket weave stitch.
Knitting: Cowl
Two sizes are available for this pattern; it’s easily customizable, depending on your style. This pattern is built so that if you weigh your yarn you can always ensure you have enough to bind off.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Inspiration can be found almost anywhere — this pattern was inspired by the print on an old pair of panties! Thus, it became the “Fancy Panties Hat.”
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These lovely little mitts are a great way to quickly bust your stash. Needing only 75-85 yds for the main color, and 20-25 yds for the contrasting colors, these babies can easily be whipped up from a few project leftovers.
Knitting: Cowl
This is an original knit pattern that was derived from my need for a quick gift. Similar to my Quickly Crossed Cable-Rib Cowl, this cowl uses a simple cross-stitch cable method that gives the impression of cabled detail without actually cabling. (It’s the perfect alternative for those not quite ready to tackle cables!)
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These mitts are a gift to your inner cheerleader! Easily customizable to fit your favorite team — simply adjust the colors, and you’re ready for the next big game!
