This design came about as an attempt to tackle my ever growing stash of sock yarn scraps. I wanted something that used a lot of small amounts of yarn, and could be knit to any size. As the parent of a rainbow obsessed 5 year old, I happened to have a full spectrum rainbow of scraps, however this can also be made with just 1 or 2 contrast colors...

About a year ago, I was browsing in my LYS when this gorgeous skein of gradient yarn caught my eye. I resisted temptation, as I didn’t know what I would make with it. However, every time I came back it would taunt me from the shelf. Finally I couldn’t stand it anymore, and it came home with me. The stars must have been aligned just right, and w...

Instead I started out with a vague idea of a geometric design with some texture. I knit and ripped, and reknit, and ripped, and reknit again until I ha...
