Crochet: Doily
This doily is worked in two pieces: the main doily, which has the swirl design, and the TARDIS applique, which is sewn onto the doily. The doily and the applique patterns can be used on thier own or in conjunction with different patterns.

Reverse-engineered from a doily I found at my great aunt’s house. The doily is worked by first making the middle section in rounds, then working each individual corner in rows.

I found an old hotpad/coaster at my grandma’s house, probably made by some recent ancestor of mine, and decided to reverse-engineer it. This pattern is the result.

I made my shawl out of Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn, however, this brand does not have the best drape, and I am sure any other brands would work just as well, if not better.
