The Whipsaw Collection pulls together four designs using a favorite stitch of mine. The Whipsaw Stitch is an intriguing back-and-forth eyelet pattern that looks like complicated cables, but is made up of simple increases and decreases balanced with yarn-overs.

Knitting: Beanie, Toque
First, there was the Sourwood Shawl which lead to the Sourwood Pullover which then lead to the Sourwood Cowl and now there’s the Sourwood Beanie!
Knitting: Cowl
I enjoyed using the two-sized honeycomb motif in both my Sourwood Shawl and Sourwood Pullover, especially with a color-shifting yarn for the background. Next up: a cowl.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I loved the crossed stitch I used in the yoke of my Media Tee and Media Shawl. Here, in the Wynnefield Shawl, I’ve tweaked the stitch pattern from garter stitch in between the bands of crosses to Stockinette stitch. Quite a difference a little change makes!
Knitting: Pullover
Bustleton is a template for making your own, unique, fingering weight top. Think of it as a blank slate, waiting for you to apply the color and/or texture.
Knitting: Cardigan, Baby Blanket
The Swanson Baby Set includes a blanket, a little sweater, and a crown, the perfect knit to give at a baby shower.
Knitting: Cowl
The Callowhill Neckwarmer is richly textured, combining the ridges, double seed stitch, and chevrons of Gansey patterns. Quick and warm, this is a little bit of knitting history to put around your neck.
Knitting: Scarf
An easy garter stitch scarf, Breaking Bad is the perfect project to work on during any visual marathon, car ride, or train trip. Color, stripe placement, length, and yarn type are all adjustable to what you have on hand and are inspired to do.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I used Baby Bamboo by Paton, so soft and sweet. I also used a pea green color for the roll edge, pea pod and tendrils and then a soft baby blue for the main color and the peas
Knitting: Scarf
A good “next step” project for the advanced beginner, the textured pattern is all knits and purls.
Knitting: Pullover
Stripes & Blocks is a generously sized turtleneck pullover. The combination of stripes and solids gives plenty of creative room to play with color choices.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
May 10, 2010: correction: in the pattern Notes, it should read “ Repeat these eight rows for pattern.”
Knitting: Christmas Stocking
The Giant Stocking is worked in the round from the top down using bulky weight yarn; worsted weight yarn, worked as 2 strands held double, can also be used.

A handy way to keep track of those elusive binkies, the Binky Buddy snaps around the handle of your baby’s binky and doubles as a lovey to cuddle (and possibly triples as an emergency washcloth, too).
Knitting: Cleaning - Other
What is that in your diaper bag? Oh, it’s the Changeling travel changing pad that folds up and closes with a bright button! And your pack of baby wipes can fit inside? How cool! And it’s cotton so you can throw it in the washing machine? Even better!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Not quite a shawl but more than a scarf, this project managed to nibble up two skeins of yarn in my stash.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
A quick and easy knit in worsted weight yarn, this wrap has one buttonhole and three buttons, so you can adjust it exactly to your fit.
