Knitting: Cowl
I made this simple cowl in round, designed just with simple cables (“Ochos” in Spanish) for my daughter. She wanted a long one, so she can wear it in the coldest mornings in winter, but it should not interfere when she plays. She really loves it, and wears it every day.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
I bought some skeins of Paca Tweed, by Plymouth Yarn, one year ago. Since then, I have been thinking what to knit with it. It is an extremely soft yarn, but relatively thick and only one ply. It is a delicate yarn and deserves a delicate pattern. I thought that a top with a lace would be perfect for it.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I love cables. They make any project more interesting but not impossible. They add texture and they offer infinite designs. With just a simple crossing of a couple of stiches you can obtain hundreds of different patterns. And, most of all, they are really stylish. A touch of elegance to any garment.
Knitting: Scarf
I made this scarf with one spare skein of Kureyon Sock skein I had into my stash. When I was thinking what to knit with, I found scarf patterns I liked, but with only one skein I had simple not enough.
Knitting: Sleeveless Top
I like TV knitting. Of course, I do love complicated patterns that squeeze my brain, but most of the days, after a long busy day, I enjoy sitting after diner, watching TV while resting my mind. For those moments, I need a pattern simple, but no boring. Nothing like 200 rows in stockinette with 2.5 mm needles; but amused and with a little twist.
