Knitting: Hats - Other
This pattern was designed for Leslie Samson’s Angora Blizzard yarn in 2007 for the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival. She wanted something to give away with her yarn. I designed this for her to give away with her Angora Blizzard yarn which is a fingering weight with an 85% angora 15% superwash Merino wool.
Knitting: Beret, Tam
This was a fast knit, designed for my daughter who requested a slouch hat in a “tweedy grey” bulky yarn. She said she knew I needed to improve my fuzz to person ration and so wanted me to spin up some yarn and knit it for her. This was before she moved to Arizona, of course.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This pattern’s stitch reminded me of a dragon’s scales. So I decided to start with larger scales at the wrist, graduating to smaller ones at the fingers and to knit it in a green variegated yarn with little sparkles in it. Voila! Dragon’s Paws.
Knitting: Cowl
A beautiful lace flower design graces the Frost Starflower Cowl pattern. This lovely lacy cowl can be knitted in the round or flat and seamed, and has picot edging. Made with angora yarn, it is light and incredibly soft, but still warm. This pattern is a super fast knit because it is made with a 7mm needle. So it’s great for last minute gifts.

I prefer it for several reasons, the primary one being that both socks will be the same, no matter whether you do some creative interpretation of the pattern or not. You c...
Knitting: Cowl
This lovely cowl has a smooth linen texture on one side and a pebbly texture on the other, a clean cabled edge and an economical triangular structure suitable for wearing in the southwest but will look good in any style. It can be worn with either side out, so you can get two looks for the work of one!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This original triangular shawl pattern is knit in a stripe pattern that will enhance pretty much any type of hand dyed yarn. It is interesting enough to keep most people happy but is not too complicated nor does it incorporate a lot of intricate stitches. It knits up fairly quickly so satisfaction is not delayed.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This is a ribbed, ruffled fingerless glove pattern designed for Samson’s Angoras Blizzard yarn. This yarn is an 80% Angora 20% superwash merino yarn and is available through www.IAGARB.org or from Leslie Samson and her sources. I also have a small stash left as of Feb 2010. This glove is ribbed and hugs the hand nicely so it feels very good on ...
