Knitting: Scarf
This pattern produces a wide shallow triangular scarf. The scarf is cast on across the widest edge and decreases down to a point. The pattern starts with a few rows of garter stitch and then changes to Tweed Stitch (Half Linen Stitch) with garter stitch at the edges.
Knitting: Pullover
This design uses a rather unusual slip stitch pattern as it includes a needle out of work as part of the 24 stitch repeat. The jumper has an asymmetric hem line and all the edges are finished with picot hems.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This pattern makes a wide crescent shaped shawl that sits comfortably around the shoulders without the need for a shawl pin. The shawl in the picture has been knitted in a long colour change sock yarn and takes about 500 to 700m depending on how big you want to make the shawl, so you will need two balls of a sock yarn. However many of the new c...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I set out to design a very simple triangular shawl and decided to offer the shawl from wide cast on to point and from point to wide cast off. I have kept the stitch pattern(s) fairly simple but for more advanced knitters you can combine the three stitch patterns to make the shawl your own. the stitch patterns all work well as reversible farbics.
Knitting: Scarf
The pattern offers two versions of the ripple stitch pattern, an open eyelet lace version shown in the images and a closed increases version (not shown on the pattern).
Crochet: Cowl
The scarf is worked in Tunisian Chevron Lace stitch pattern. It is basically a Tunisian Simple Stitch with increases and decreases to create the chevron/ripple stitch pattern.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I designed this shawl for the birth of my granddaughter so the first version was knitted in the cream cotton/acrylic mix yarn. I then thought that if it was knitted in a different colourway with a luxury hand dyed yarn it would also make a lovely evening shawl.
Knitting: Scarf
This is a very easy knit scarf worked in garter stitch. It is a wide shallow scarf that goes from the bottom point outwards. The length of the scarf can be adjusted to suit your own requirements and amount of yarn.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The Shawl can be knitted in DK weight or 4ply/Fingering weight yarn. Two sizes are offered in each weight. The main body of the shawl should be knitted in a solid or semi-solid colour to best show off the textured stitches in the pattern. The edging can be knitted in the same colour or a contrast/multi-colour to give an accent as in the images.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is the third in a series of Wave Shawls. This shawl makes a wide shallow shawl that is more suitable for wearing as a scarf/shawl. Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl is worked in garter stitch using the German Double Stitch method of working short rows. It is worked in two colours but only one colour is worked at a time. It can be worked in any weight of yarn and the number of sections worked depends on the amount of yarn you have and the finished size you want. The shawls in the images have been...

Crochet: Hanging Ornament
A great stash buster pattern as the stars take only a small amount of yarn. They are best worked in 4ply/Fingering weight yarn or sock yarn. I have attached the starts to a thin bracelet to let them hang as a decoration but you could stiffen them with starch or sugar water to make them hang without the bracelet.
Knitting: Drawstring Bag
The pattern includes instructions to knit this bag in the round or as a flat piece and then seamed to make into the bag. It starts at the bottom with the centre of the star pattern which is worked outwards in the same way as a circular shawl.

Knitting: Scarf, Cowl
The scarf/cowl is knitted in an eyelet rib pattern which is also used as the buttonholes for the buttons. The cowl can be buttoned up in a number of ways to make a close fitting cowl/snood or a longer draping scarf depending on whether you use 2 or 3 skeins of the yarn.
Knitting: Pullover
I found a variation of this stitch pattern in one of my knitting magazines and thought it was an interesting stitch. I played around with the stitch pattern combining it with different colours and yarn thicknesses before selecting the final version.
