The Marea Hat is inspired by fond memories of going to the beach and spending hours in the water swaying in the waves and chatting with my cousins. It’s a super quick and easy knit that uses slipped stitches and cables that mimic the endless ebb and flow of the tide.

My very first design, I’m inspired by images of vast evergreen forests. The smell of pine trees, the crunch of soft snow underfoot, the cold wind, the hush of winter… That’s the Vastwood.
