I was inspired by this post by Mama in a Stitch to create my own tapestry crochet bag pattern. This woodland mini mountain ornament is the perfect addition to any outdoor lover’s Christmas tree. I used leftover worsted weight yarn in gray and white to make this. It’s a quick project that works up in about an hour and is beginner friendly.

Standing pencil case or hook case measures about 6½” tall and 1¾” in diameter. Pattern includes optional space to store tapestry needles and stitch markers if using for a hook case.
