Welcome to the second collection from geoknittrix! This collection is inspired by the amazing mini skein! They are a fun little way to add extra color and texture to your knitting and make for a great statement with a bold POP! of color!

As a knitter, I adore self-striping sock yarn! It’s easy, gorgeous, and who doesn’t like stripes?

Utilizing a bit of out-of-the-box thinking and bit of imagination, I created these one day while thinking about short rows and what would happen if you added a hole to the center of them. One thing lead to another and the 3-5-7 Mitts were born!

Ad Hoc? Why did you pick that name, Josh? Well. Let me tell you…

Aero was inspired by a sketch I made one afternoon and it reminds me of birds/wings. I love the bird-esque lines and the modern color-blocking.

Angularity is inspired by the Minimalist movement in art and architecture. The simplicity of light and dark, shadow and form in the Minimalist movement lend themselves to knitting very readily.

Firn (feern) is a German word for old snow. It is ice that is at an intermediate stage between snow and glacial ice. This shawl is the perfect display of new, lighter freshly fallen snow and the harder, older condensed snow that exists on the tops of mountains.
