The Maerdy Mountain Cowl has been designed using beautiful yarn hand dyed in an eponymous colourway by Michelle from Woolly Wumpkins.

These mitts are my favourite for when I’m out and about. They keep my hands warm while letting me use my smartphone! I have a pair in 4ply for around the house when I’m busy with knitting or my accounts work. I regularly make these for friends and family as gifts.

This cowl was designed for a very close friend named Erica. When I did some research, I found out that Erica is Latin for Heather, so I used that as my inspiration for this design. I decided to use a stitch pattern that represented the heather plant.
