I couldn’t help but use the name of the colorway in this pattern because I loved it - but the socks are actually not swampy but a lush, lovely deep green that lends itself to rather classy footwear for your guy’s dress up days. The cable is fun, a stag on the the leg that divides into baby cable all the way to the toe.

The colorway for this Sweet Georgia Yarns Tough Love Sock yarn is Black Plum, and the gorgeous hue inspired the name for these great looking socks. This is the first time I have used Juno Fibre’s yarns, and I really loved working with it. This colorway, “Sands”, is delicate, subtle and neutral. Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
Knittink’s yarns are great, the colors are inspired by comic book colors and other such nerdy stuff. She can be found at dyeknittinkdye.com and its worth checking out. I used two contrasting colors of her Batgirl series, which is constantly changing and is always exciting. An 6/6 rib and and 3/3 rib keep these socks in the right place!

Storied Yarns is great! When I joined a one month club I was asked what was on my mind that would inspire a colorway. These were fun to make - I never got tired of looking at the color- KittnKolor (etsy.com/shop/kittnkolor) makes this two color, self-striping yarn in several variations, and the orange is a semi-solid, so any of her strong contrasting yarn would work with the self-striping. Bits of the orange knit as half rows throughout the sock brings it all ...
