On the 18th November 2019, our much loved Olaf passed away in our arms. He had been sick for a few months with kidney disease and we knew our time with him would be measured in weeks, not years. He was a big old cinnamon Burmese and litter mate to Mokey. His passing hit us hard, but watching Mokey grieve was the worst.

Believe it or not, Rupert started out as a swatch to see how micro stripe yarn knit up. Only, before I knew it I was half way through what would become a shawl and knew exactly what I wanted it to look like when it was done! Sometimes the yarn really does take over.
