This is a cabled bulky hat that I designed to show my support of the St. Louis Cardinals in their playoff run of 2013. I actually saw someone wearing a similar store bought hat at a game and I immediately wanted to design one just like it. I used Hometown USA super bulky yarn, but any bulky yarn would work.

Knitting: Earflap Hat
This pattern is a warm cabled hat with earflaps. The finished dimensions of the hat are 16 inch circumference unstretched and it stretches to fit most adult heads. The flap is ~4 inches wide at the top and 5.5 inches long.

These legwarmers are perfect for Doctor Who fans. They take less than 1 skein of yarn. They fit my legs (pictured) and would stretch to fit those with larger calves. I designed ribbing on the top and bottom to provide a snug fit.

This pattern is of a cute penguin. As written, it will fit a toddler. I used a “double-knitting” technique with the white face of the penguin to ensure that the hat maintained its stretch. I have documented this clearly with words and pictures in the patterns, but if you have any questions or need any clarification, feel free to contact me.

This pattern features mice playing around the brim of a hat. With the gauge suggested, this hat easily fits an adult medium head and stretches to fit a larger head as well. This hat uses less than one skein of the main color and a small amount of the mouse color. I used Vanna’s Choice yarn, but any worsted weight yarn would work.
