Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Based on the chunky gloves worn by Thorin’s company of dwarves in The Hobbit, these mitts will warm your hands through the Misty Mountains while keeping your fingers free to fight the perils of Mirkwood! These mitts are worked in a rustic double seed stitch pattern with a side accent cable to echo the dwarves’ braids.
Knitting: Legwarmers
These leafy legwarmers are perfect for fall, with their cascading lace/pseudo-cable pattern reminiscent of autumn leaves. Wear them over leggings for a splash of color, or under your boots for some extra warmth. Then frolic about in the fallen leaves to your heart’s content!
Knitting: Cowl
This knit-in-the-round, completely reversible garment can be whatever cold-weather accessory you need. Toss it around your neck as a scarf, loop it over your head to serve as a hood, or tuck your arms through to pull on a shrug. Or anything else you can think of!
Knitting: Scarf
Subtle double seed stitch diamonds suggest a classic and trendy argyle pattern. The seed stitch pattern continues on the border.
Knitting: Washcloth / Dishcloth
This pattern includes instructions for all three dishcloths: a simple picot design that’s great for beginners, a chevron-edged cloth to spice things up, and a lace-edged circular cloth for some variety! Work all three in matching yarn and they make a great, quick gift.
Knitting: Cardigan
This princess-style cardi knits up fast with just one skein. Puff sleeves and lace combine to make this a sweet summer top for your little one.
Knitting: Legwarmers
These snug, stretchy legwarmers can fit under jeans in the winter or under a skirt in the spring. The faux cable pattern is simple and attractive, and is suitable for knitters of all skill levels.
