I wanted to design an easy pattern to use up a whole ball of Scheejpes Whirl and to show off the subtle colour graduation of the yarn.

I designed this simple shawl using my most favourite aspects of the many small shawls I have made over the years - garter stitch, eyelets and picots.

A warm and snuggly cowl which is quick to make. I wanted a cowl that would keep my neck warm without being baggy, so I made this to be close fitting. I used all of both balls of yarn. The pattern could be adapted and made bigger for a looser fit, but you will need more yarn.
