Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Fiddlehead Fern Fingerless Mitts are one of the featured patterns in the Knit Picks IDP Pattern Showcase for Palette Yarn, December 2023. Fiddlehead Fern Fingerless Mitts are seasonally transitional, leaving knitterly fingers free to work in any temperature. They will also leave non-knitterly fingers open to sip a cozy cup of tea or pick apples...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is the start of a series of hats that will include different styles/colors of bands and with or without embellishments such as pom poms (The pom pictured is 4.5” in diameter=huge!).
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This unisex hat is knitted using the stranded knitting technique typical to Fair Isle Knitting, in the round on circular needles. Color work fabric can be a bit unforgiving, so the fabric gauge has been designed to provide enough stretch to fit a head up to an inch (or maybe even a bit more than an inch) larger in circumference than the unstret...
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
Like your fingers free for knitting out of doors? Like toasty fingers that just peek out enough to text? Looking for something in between? You’ll find it all here. And improvisation is welcome, too!
Knitting: Booties

This created confusion for me in naming the pattern; I wanted both ideas in the name. So it’s pretty darn long. Maybe I should just ab...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Green Giant Cabled Ski Hat is meant as a complement to my pattern Green Giant Fingerless Mitts. Like the mitts, it is a very quick knit with minimal yardage required.
Knitting: Slippers, Booties, Mid-calf Socks
These basic socks are worked from the toe, up with stitch options for stockinette or simple ribbing. This pattern has been tested by some fabulous knitters.
Knitting: Slippers
This pattern is currently undergoing a face lift. I am adding several sizes and possibly also some different gauge ideas to change the firmness of the fabric if desired. I will be updating it within the next month or so (by June). If you have already saved this pattern to your library, you will receive an “update” in your library.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These mitts were knitted for my mother-in-law, who has terribly painful arthritic hands and—in particular—thumbs. I wanted a pattern that would fit her snugly and gave support to her hands but would be warm and stylish as well.
