I designed this little bonnet many years ago when my daughter had a collection of Cabbage Patch dolls. Since patterns for these dolls are difficult to find, I decided to retrieve them from storage, re-work the wording so that others could follow the patterns, and share them.

There aren’t many patterns on Ravelry for the Cabbage Patch Dolls. I used to knit for my daughter’s dolls many years ago. Since I still had the patterns, I’m sharing this one with everyone. These dolls come in all sizes now but my models are the larger Cabbage Patch Kids.

Using about 2 ounces of worsted weight yarn, this cute doll poncho and hat set is quick to knit. Two stitch versions of the poncho as well as the roll brim hat are included in this pattern.
