Inspired by breaking waves on the shore and two fabulous yarn colours by Perran Yarns, these cosy mittens are knit in the round using the circular magic loop technique to create gently forming stripes.

These longer length mittens are great for layering up. The diamond pattern is representative of the “drystane dykes” (dry stone walls), which divide fields all over the north east of Scotland. The Doric fingerless mittens are knitted in the round using the circular magic loop technique.

Inspired by both the colourway of Sandy Toes by Perran yarns and the stitch pattern from my Sun ‘n’ Surf blanket, this easy to wear cowl will keep you thinking of sunnier climes even on colder days. Knitted in the round with an easy to remember lace pattern, it has a pretty picot edge start and to finish.

Inspired by a honeycomb stitch pattern, this bobble hat works best using contrasting colours. This pattern is knitted in the round and is designed to have up to 13 cm of negative ease for a snug fit. Any additional length can be turned up for additional warmth over the ears. It is finished with an oversized pompom.
