Friday the 22nd of July 2011, Norway, and my heart, came to a halt as we saw the terrible terrorist attack unfold in Oslo and on Utøya. As a writer I’ve had a hard time expressing myself, but I wanted to find a way to show and share my love and not only for the victims of this tragedy and the people of Norway, but something that could be a tool for anyone wanting to express their love and support.

Knitting: Balaclava
A versatile balaklava that can easily be turned around to be used as a cowl, hood or hat. Lovely for cold winter days.

Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
This is part pattern, part tutorial for how to make garter stitch wrist warmers that will fit perfectly every time, using any yarn.

Knitting: Pullover
The ravelry download is available in English only. If you’re looking for your first cabled sweather project, this is a nice place to start. This is a fast knit with only 4 cables on the body, making it easy to keep track.

Available in English and Norwegian. This is a very easy garment to knit, but you can still make it into 3 quite different garments depending on how you decide to assemble it.
