Using worsted/aran weight yarn tripled gives a nice thick, cushiony feel. The pocket can be left empty or filled to add more cushion.

A prayer shawl is important to guys as well. Yarn with substance might be best, such as worsted or aran weight.
Crochet: Book Cover
Use any worsted weight or similar weight yarn. Remember you want the crocheted “fabric” to be thick to protect the book.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I liked the stitch definition with this yarn so keep that in mind as you look through your stash. Try this with any weight yarn. Just adjust the needle size and add/subtract cast on stitches.

This is adjustable to suit everyone. Yarn used will determine the thickness of the I-cord. I opted to use thinner yarn.

Tunisian crochet is ideal for a sturdy item which means no need to add a lining. However, this is thicker/heavier.

Can be made longer or shorter by adding/subtracting the amount of FDC’s. SInce each end has a yarn tail, use the buttons with the large holes to use your yarn tail to sew on. I ran out, so the needle and thread was used on the smaller hole buttons.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with different types and weight of yarn. Try color coding each for the type of essential oil you are using it for!
