The Wandering Sheep Hat is a stranded colorwork deign that requires three colors. The pattern is written for Worsted, Light Bulky, or Bulky weight yarn and comes in Adult and Child (3-5 yo) size. This is an Advanced Beginner design and some experience with stranded colorwork is recommended.

This is a unisex beanie knit with worsted weight yarn using three colors. It is a beginner-friendly pattern and comes in three adult sizes: Small (20.5-21.5”), Medium (22-23”) and Large (23.5-24.5”). This pattern also includes instructions for a headband in the same sizes.

This is a revised version of my Mountain Town Beanie pattern. Worsted and Bulky weights have been added to the pattern in addition to the Light Bulky version previously available. Slight modifications have been added to the brim and the decrease of the hat. The cable pattern is consistent with the previous pattern.

The Rocky Mountain Headband is written for 5 yarn weights (worsted to super bulky) and 3 sizes (2 adult and 1 child). It is a quick knit and a great way to use yarn scraps!

This pattern uses three colors to create mountains using the stranded colorwork knitting technique. The pattern is written for five yarn weights: Worsted, Light Bulky, Bulky, Light Super Bulky, and Super Bulky. It is recommended for an advanced beginner. Experience with stranded colorwork is not required.

This cowl pattern is for advanced beginners, but does not require prior stranded colorwork experience. The pattern is written to fit an average sized adult, but adjustments are provided for smaller and larger sizes.

Experience with stranded colorwork is recommended for this pattern. This headband is sized for an adult, and is knit with worsted weight yarn in 5 colors.

This pattern is written for four yarn weights: Light Bulky, Bulky, Light Super Bulky, and Super Bulky. The pattern is written as adult-sized, but can be easier modified for other sizes.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is an Advanced Beginner hat pattern that comes in 4 yarn weights: Super Bulky, Light Super Bulky, Bulky, and Light Bulky. It is sized for an adult. The size of needles needed ranges from US 8 (5.0mm) to US 15 (10.0mm), depending on the weight of yarn used. Less than one skein is needed for the main color.

Experience with stranded colorwork and cables is helpful for this pattern. It is designed for Light Super Bulky and Super Bulky yarn, and the recommended yarn is Malabrigo Noventa or Rasta.

This is a beginner-friendly stranded colorwork pattern. No floats to catch, and this pattern knits up quick in bulky weight yarn. Malabrigo Chunky is the recommended yarn, but similar weight yarn can be used if the gauge is maintained.

This is an advanced beginner pattern. Previous experience with stranded colorwork is recommended. This hat comes in child, adult xs/s, and adult m/l sizes. Any worsted weight yarn can be used for this pattern. Malabrigo Rios or Worsted are great options.

This is an advanced beginner pattern that uses three colors of worsted weight yarn. This headband is knit in the round and is sized for an adult. Experience with stranded colorwork is recommended, but not required.

This pattern comes in three yarn weight, Light Bulky, Bulky, and Super Bulky, and two sizes, Adult and Child (3-5yo). It is an intermediate pattern, and experience with stranded colorwork and cables is recommended.
Knitting: Earwarmers
This pattern comes in 2 weights, Light Bulky and Bulky. Both patterns are sized for Adult. The recommended yarn for the Light Bulky pattern is We Are Knitters The Petite Wool and the recommended yarn for the Bulky pattern is Malabrigo Chunky. However, most Light Bulky/Aran or Bulky weight yarn will work.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is a great intro to colorwork. The floats are short and no more than two colors are knitted at once. The hat is knit in the round with US 8 (5.0mm) circular needles and comes in 3 sizes, child, adult small, and adult (fits most women). A pom-pom can be added to this hat, but it also looks good without one.

Beginner-friendly, quick knit. This pattern comes in 2 sizes, Adult S/M (fits most women, 21” to 22” head circumference) and Adult M/L (22’’ to 23’’). It also includes instructions for a beanie fit or a slouchy fit.

This pattern is for an adult-sized knit headband/earwarmer. I recommend Aran weight yarn, or a light bulky. Double strands of DK weight can also be used.
