This pattern is worked in three colors, but could be done in 2 or as many you like. I knit fairly loose so you may consider going up a needle size if you need a larger hat.

I created this pattern for a friend who does IronMan triathlons. She wanted something to wear for her post race cool down while displaying her achievement.

I created this pattern to raise money for ALS TDI, a non-profit biotech research organization working to find a cure for ALS. The hat is a fitted beanie, appropriate for average sized adult heads. I am a fairly loose knitter so you may need to go up a needle size if you tend to knit tight.
