Knitting: Pullover
When I got this yarn, I wanted to knit a long, warm tunic with an air of elegance and grace. The yarn itself was ideal for such a project: 100% baby alpaca is extremely soft, warm and yields a lovely drapey knitted fabric. The beads add a feminine touch to the garment, and the shaping of the tunic was designed to complement many body types and ...

Knitting: Mid-calf Socks

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I designed this shawl for a skein of hand-dyed and handspun lace weight yarn. This shawl pattern is modular, which means it can be knitted to desired size with almost any yarn. Finished shawl size depends on the yarn and needles used.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
I wanted to use sport weight yarn to produce an elegant pair of socks and decided to go for the Austrian cables. I found the cable patterns in Maria Erlbacher’s book Überlieferte Strickmuster aus dem Steirischen Ennstal.
Knitting: Mittens
I find stranded colorwork fascinating, and wanted to give a pair of stranded mittens a little twist with an asymmetrical, unconventional design. I used two colors for this, but the design is suitable for variegated and semisolid yarns as well (especially for the background).
