I decided to make these socks becuase I wanted a fun play on the regular vanilla socks, that I often knit. The details on the rib, heel and toe are maticulously planned, so they are symmetrical and look nice.

Imagine these lace socks on a lovely spring day, where it’s just a bit too cold to wear your sandals barefoot. But with these socks inside you get to show off both your fabulous handknit socks and your new sandals!

These mittens are a fast and easy knit. Less than one skein of each yarn is used, which makes the mittens a perfect scrap yarn project.
