In order to make this laptop case, you will first need to know how to make the “African Flower Hexagon”. I used the tutorial from Heidi Bear’s blog to make my motifs.

In a sphere, the geometric surfaces curve in to itself creating the solid outside surface. A pseudo-sphere is a sphere’s opposite, the surfaces curve outwards and increase exponentially. This can be replicated with hyperbolic crochet, as shown here.

This cloth combines three common crochet stitches to create a unique pattern. The stitch looks like the crescent moon. It is very easy to produce and uses very little yarn. When the border is added, the edges curl up slightly giving the cloth an extra special flair.

The Cornrow Dishcloth pattern is very easy and is useful for fine tuning knitting and purling skills. It can be completed using any color yarn and looks great in both solid and ombre.

In my original pattern the Cross “t” was thinner than shown in the picture. The display picture has been photo-shopped to represent this, however the posted pattern download will represent this new design.
