The Carmen Top is a very simple and basic tube top, which features a drawstring around the upper bust to secure it (and which doubles as a strap if you prefer). It is a quick knit and perfect for the hotter months of the year, as it is knit in soft, light plant-based yarn.

The April Scrunchie is a quick little project, inspired by the red carnations that became the symbol for the Portuguese revolution against fascism. It can be done in a day and will spice up any outfit that needs a little pop.

The top is worked bottom up, first in the round and then back and forth to create the low back. At the under arms, the work is split to create the chest piece and the back straps separately. In the end, the front and back straps are grafted together at the top of the shoulders.
