My block came out to about 10 by 10 in cotton also did in a wool into a bag! This is now in color or chart hope you enjoy! I plan to make in color soon!

This is a panel of a blanket I am creating so see all panels as they come!

Cast on 48 stitches and knit across for four rows then follow chart and have a four stitch boarder.

I did end up making the sky a bit shorter then the pattern so it would be the same size as my other dolphin panel.

I would suggest casting on 32 stitches and when you get to the chart just knit the first four.

Cast on 38 stitches knit five rows slipping the first one then start chart. You should continue to slip the first stitch of each row and knit the first three stitches and then knit the last four for a nice little border.

cast on 59 stitches to make a small border on each side. The yarn I used was a small skein of medium blue, baby blue and grey also small amounts of white, dark blue and a little thread of black for the eye.
