I got the chance to contribute to Easyknits little Christmas Booklet “Knits&Kibble” and did so with this hat+cuffs set.

The pdf contains both Swedish and English version.

Easiest, fluffy cowl ever.

It started with machines. Cogs, metal, hard, mechanic.

I do not bother about a specific yarn or gauge with this pattern. It can be worked in ANY yarn that gives you a pretty and even stockinette. the contrasting yarn can preferably be slightly thicker than the main color.

I teach basic cabling technique. So I designed a cable with that in mind… The cable itself can obviously be used on its own on anything! (Man’s sweater sleeve, around the cuff of something…) but it became a toque (hat).

I needed something thin, but warm, long but short, flowy but fitted… Meet Offe!

A garment that can be worn in a zillion ways. An oversize circle in warm, colorful wool can make a statement to everything from a cocktail dress to a winter jacket!

This is my first design that really show my design philosophy. It combines lace, cable, construction and my aesthetics and each chosen stitch has a purpose.
