I’m sure I’m like everyone else, we all have that one skein of sock yarn that we bought that we are “saving for something special” but we have no idea what that is. You don’t want to use is on socks, but you don’t want another beanie either. This cowl uses that one skein!

The Seven Nights In Ireland Cowl is knit in the round on 16 inch circular needles. The cowl features a linen stitch body and a 3 cable panel. The linen stitch creates a nice dense fabric that is great for fighting off the cold chilly winter air.

This is a great beginner pattern, or a fast knit for last minute gifts!

This beanie has a slight slouch to it, which can be made great if you repeat certain rows (detailed in pattern) For a smaller/tighter fit you can use a 5.00 mm hook instead. This pattern uses several different stitches to give it a unique and fun texture!

This pattern is a simple bottom-up pattern. It is worked in two continuous parts; part one is the brim/ribbing, which is worked in rows and then joined together. Part two is worked in the round.
