This versatile motif is constructed in two parts, joined in the middle. Join partway to make a butterfly, or all the way to make a leaf!

This Shell motif can be used as an applique or as a design element in a freeform composition, It takes small amounts of yarn or thread, in any weight. Gauge not important but the finished sizes of my samples are listed in the instructions.
