I make as you all know for various charities and I was asked recently to create a small A4 sized blanket for angel babies. I used a 4.5mm hook and DK but you could use 4ply and a 4mm hook to give you a softer finish, but you will need to increase the number of rows.

I was asked recently to make a baby cocoon, it evolved into this pattern for a little sleeping bag. I went with this design because tiny angel babies have very delicate skin so I made sure that this pend up completely, then folds back over and has a choice of ribbon or button fastening.

I love designing for babies and I wanted something small, quick and useful. So I came up with this little jacket. It takes approximately 25g of baby DK yarn and I can make one in about an hour. The little jackets that I make are donated to charity for use on maternity wards but They can also be used for little dolls.

This is my pattern for a baby girl summer dress. Sized at 20” chest which is approximately 6 - 9 months, but can easily be up or down sized just by changing hook and even yarn.
