Protection Shawl

Pampa cushion is inspired in our typical “Guarda Pampa” (Pampa Ribbon) that is a symbol of our Rio de la Plata folk culture. A simple

“Strange fascination, fascinating me. Changes are taking the pace I’m going through.”

This big shawl is constructed by casting on 4 stitches and working symmetrical increases from that point on. The combination of both stitch patterns, loop stitch and lace stitch, generates a fabric that varies between tight and light textures. This, together with the added color rhythm, ends up creating a harmonic pattern and a jazzy shawl.

This is a quick project perfect to people that want to try their first steps knitting in the round, getting, anyway, an interesting and textured item, to wear it or to gift it.
