Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a pretty easy pattern with the colors doing all the work. If you sometimes get bored by endless rows of stockinet stitch, the stripes break that up nicely.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl fits nicely. You can add a button in front and on the inside of the points to add “sleeves”.
Knitting: Cowl
A quick cowl with a lot of texture. Directions are for two sizes, one with a little drape.
Knitting: Cowl
A simple pattern with a lot of texture, written in 3 sizes. Small is 22”, Medium is 28”, and Large is 44”. It has a slight zig zag edge and works well in various yarns. In the heavier aran weight Osprey, the eyelets give it some drape.
Knitting: Cowl
A drapey cowl worked in the round, with hemmed edges that are secured as part of the knitting and cast-off. It can be made smaller or larger, to change the style or use different weight yarn, by using more or fewer pattern repeats.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
The center is adapted from a circle in Nicky Epstein’s book, Knitting in Circles.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a shape that stays on well and I’ve added buttons, one in front and two others that create sleeves.
Crochet: Market bag (slouchy)
This bag can be made from different weight yarns. Don’t use anything very stretchy.
