This is a machine knit pattern I developed based on a vintage 1940’s sweater. It was made on a Singer LK100, a basic mid gauge home knitting machine. The ribbing and finishing are done by hand.

This pattern is one size but is adjustable. Notes are given for adjusting the pattern if you are using a different gauge/yarn or would just like to adjust the finished size of the headband.

Fits head size 16.5 - 17.5 inches. Notes are given for adjusting size. Takes about 1/2 skein or less.

This Beret and Cowl scarf has a lacy look but still enough body to hold it’s shape and stay warm.
