Knitting: Cowl
This Outlander style cowl knits up fast in super bulky yarn. The twist happens right before you join the cast on stitches in a circle. This is considered a no-no for most circular knitting but the last minute twist turns it into an “infinity” cowl. Great for doubling up. You only have 19 rows to knit to complete this fabulous cowl.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
A Beginning Knitter who knows how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off will enjoy knitting this pattern.
Knitting: Cowl
If my neck is cold I am cold all over, so I made this quick-to-knit circular scarf.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
These arm warmers somewhat like the ones Mrs. Fitz wore in the first season of the Outlander series.
Knitting: Cowl, Beanie, Toque
This set is a great project for an advanced beginner knitter who has learned how to knit in the round. A moving rib pattern creates a soft, stretchy fabric with wonderful texture. The hat is truly “one size fits all.” It is fun to make and easy to wear.
Crochet: Fingerless Gloves
These mitts, a.k.a. wrist warmer or fingerless gloves have a slightly Victorian flavor. They are worked from the wrist toward the fingers, back and forth in rows. Then, without breaking yarn, the flat piece is seamed with a slip stitch.
Crochet: Containers
Easy, fast and adorable…what is not to love about these Sari Silk Ribbon Bowls? They are crocheted with recycled saris that have been spun into yarn. Thanks for helping save the planet! Or you can use leftover yarn from your stash and then not feel guilty about buying more yarn. They are great last minute gifts, cute decor items and very handy ...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Knitting: Cuffs
These little cuties knit up fast with Bulky Weight or hand spun yarn. They are good for taking the chill off when you are sliding that (computer) mouse around.
Knitting: Scarf

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This triangle shawl has bands of variegated Worsted Weight yarn knit in Stockinette stitch alternating with bands of solid color Bouclé yarn knit in Garter stitch. There is a garter stitch border.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This Garter stitch stole is knit in the shape of a trapezoid making it very drape-able. It knits up fast using size 17 needles. The fun part is gathering up all those odd balls of yarn you have stashed away. Remember that fuzzy yarn you bought that was so pretty? How about the Eyelash, Ladder or sparkly stuff that is too nice to throw away but ...
Crochet: Cloche Hat
The flattering shape of this hat makes it look good on everybody because it is custom fit to your head size. Using two strands of light fingering, you crochet the ribbed band and then make the puff stitches into the edge of the band.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
I named this the “Great Lakes Hat” because its warm enough to keep you toasty while standing on the shore in January! The crown is crocheted in a spiral using single crochet and easy-to-follow increases. Then the cuff is done in back and forth rows of half double crochet. To complete the look the cuff is folded up twice.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is fun to make, easy to wear and looks good on everybody. The pattern makes a wonderful texture that is soft and stretchy yet retains its shape. A quickly decreasing crown creates the head-hugging shape.
Knitting: Slippers
Yes, indeed, an intermediate knitter can make these slippers in about 4 hours!
Crochet: Scarf
People will ask how you made this light and breezy scarf. First you crochet a grid and then you weave ribbon yarn through creating a fun new look.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
A great pattern for the advanced beginner, this Garter Stitch scarf may be made twice the pictured size by using one skein for each half.
Knitting: Scarf
This is a pattern for a freeform scarf. The words “pattern” and “freeform “ cancel each other out and that is why it is called an “oxymoron.”
Knitting: Pullover
It has sleeves like a sweater but the comfort and versatility of a poncho. Its the SWONCHO!
Crochet: Cloche Hat
This hat can be made with any yarn and made to fit any head. It is crocheted in vertical rows until you reach the correct head size. For this reason gauge is not really important. You need to be happy with the fabric you are creating and adjust your hook size if it is too floppy or too stiff.
Knitting: Vest
This wonderfully textured vest is knit with yarn included in the Possibilities Kit from Quillin Fiber Arts.
