Knitting: Cardigan
This summer shirt is knit with a very drapey yarn from Berroco called Seduce. It’s a top-down design that is super simple and knits up super fast. You can also easily add a longer sleeve if desired.
Knitting: Cardigan
This light and wispy cardigan is perfect for spring. The model was made with Classic Elite Silky Alpaca Lace doubled. It also knits beautifully in Malabrigo Lace doubled (or not) or combining one strand of Silky Alpaca with one strand of Rowan Kid Silk Haze. The objective is to get a lightweight, wispy, soft sweater.
Knitting: Scarf, Shawl / Wrap
You can use US size 6 or 7 needles. I made the model from 2 balls of Skacel’s Zauberball Sock Yarn, but you can obtain similar results with sport or lace weight Kauni, you just want to make sure it has a long color run for best effect.
Knitting: Cowl
This particular cowl neck was inspired by an Eileen Fisher design. It has proven quite versatile: It can keep you shoulders warm as a flattering wrap or hang loose around your neck as a stylish scarf. You can loop it twice around the neck for added neck warmth or, in case of cold and windy weather, as a babushka style head wrap.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I originally began this hat as an excuse to use some of that wonderful new Malabrigo Rios, but mostly I wanted to test and practice a tubular cast-on, a.k.a. Italian or German cast-on which I believe is a must for this type of hat or for anything ribbed.
