Sizes available reflect actual finished width measurements for sizes 34-46, measured before blocking.
Knitting: Pullover
The nature of this pattern requires full blocking out to flatten the cable and show off the seed stitch between the cables. If you prefer your cables more fully ribbed, you will need to make a size or two larger, as the pattern measurements reflect blocking out approximately 2” across each piece.
Knitting: Vest
The vertical ribbed pattern allows for size flexibility. If the sweater is left to fall softly, it will expand between the ribs to fit a range within a size. So, for instance, size 34-36 measures between 37 and 40 inches, depending on how much it is opened out. But, even the 40 inch width doesn’t stretch it too far and spoil its looks.
