Knitting: Cloche Hat
I designed this hat after getting a request from my best friend AnnaKarin. She wanted a hat with a bit of a classy look and a touch of the 20’s. I wanted the hat to look like it would suit the Charleston dancers from the 20’s visiting Scandinavia.
Knitting: Mid-calf Socks
I have promised my boyfriend a pair of socks for a long time. I really don’t fancy knitting plain socks in size 43 so I decided to design a pair of my own. Since we were on vacation in the Moselle valley in Germany at this time I was inspired by the winding Moselle River.
Crochet: Electronics Cozy
This is a generic pattern for how to make a cozy sleeve for your netbook, laptop, cell phone, iPod, iPad…you name it!
Knitting: Mittens
These mittens remind me of swirly meringues. I chose super-washed yarn containing nylon to prevent it from felting and to achieve defined stitches. The pattern is based on twisted stitches either leaning to the left or to the right.
Knitting: Mittens
These mittens are inspired by the Swedish designer Stig Lindberg who made a pattern called Berså for Gustavsbergs Pottery Factory in 1970. This is my version of the pattern. I hope you’ll enjoy it!
